Revive is an non-profit organization which works to help people in vulnerable conditions.
More than half of an estimated 3.9 – 5.3 million internally displaced people in Colombia are under 18, rendering them even more vulnerable to the threats that caused them to flee their homes in the first place, such as recruitment and use of child soldiers, sexual violence, child labor, hunger, among others.
Revive wants to help the young people in Colombia to overcome and eradicate the poverty affecting their lives.
Approximately 87% of the 1.1 billion young people in the world live in developing countries.
The UN Millennium Development Goals require all countries to improve the status and living conditions of young people and to make provisions for them to participate in the common decision making in the society.
